Basic Supplies needed For Oil 

1. Paint brushes of your choice

2. Palette (Glass lite, palette paper or styrofoam plate in ziplock baggie)

3. Linseed oil or Liquin

4. Gamisol or Turpenoid paint thinner

5. Paper Towels

6. Canvas of your choice of size

7. Oils paints from Zorn Palette or Dorenes Rainbow palette

They are named on the handouts

 


 Names of oil colors are universal, so ie.. Indian Yellow is the same thing in Windsor and Newton, Rembrant, Grumbaker on down the line.

Basic Supplies for Pastel

I have a teachers account with Dick Blick and Cheap Joes. I can get up to 70 % off when I order for a class, much cheaper than Aaron Bros. and Michaels all together.

 

Otherwise, Bring what you have. Canson paper is the best paper. Lately I have been using Swede mat board

     I post my handouts because sometimes I forget about old lessons and not always hand them out. Some of these are from other artists and teachers and I always want to give them credit. Right click on them and save image as, to download them on to your computer.
